Enrolment Conditions:
- Full Payment is required with the enrolment/re-enrolment form. A place cannot be confirmed unless payment has been made.
- Payments can be made by Cheque, Cash or Bank Transfer. Cheques should be made payable to “Water Lilies Swimming School” or “T J Snelling” and the is a 50p charge.
- Places are allocated on a first come first served basis. Demand can be high so prompt registration is advised.
- All parents and swimmers must agree and adhere to the Water Lilies Swimming School Terms & Conditions and Code of Conduct and sign to say they understand and agree to them.
Waiting Lists:
- There are a maximum number of participants for each session. Should classes be full then a waiting list will be put into operation.
- As soon as a new place becomes available, in the appropriate ability level, you will be offered that place.
- Please inform the Water Lilies Swimming School as soon as possible if you no longer wish to be kept on the waiting list.
Cancellations:
- All requests to cancel membership must be made in writing with supporting medical evidence if relevant.
- Cancellations received up to 14 days prior to the start of the course will be subject to a cancellation charge of 20% of the total cost of the terms course.
- No refunds will be given for cancellation received once the course has started unless we are able to secure a new swimmer.
- Water Lilies Swimming School reserves the right to change or cancel a course at any time. Arrangements will be made to reschedule where possible if not refunds will be payable.
- Missed classes cannot be refunded or carried over to following courses, but my be taken on another day is space is available.
Staff:
- All Instructors are qualified and experienced swimming teachers and hold the relevant ASA certificate(s).
- We pride ourselves on our high Instructor to swimmer ratio, ensuring your child will receive above average attention.
- As some physical contact with your child is unavoidable all staff adhere to the ASA Child Protection Procedures and are CRB checked.
- Water Lilies Swimming School reserves the right to replace advertised coaches or programs where unavoidable.
- If an instructor is unwell or cannot attend a session, Water Lilies Swimming School will endeavour to provide a cover teacher.
Other Issues:
- Water Lilies Swimming School does not accept responsibility for any damage or loss of property or articles left on the premises.
- Please keep speed to no more than 5 miles per hour and make sure that children are supervised at all times, we must respect that the pools are on private property and some have large/deep ponds etc close by. Please make sure you are parked in the allocated parking spaces only.
- Water Lilies Swimming School shall not be held responsible for any personal injury or fatality that may occur.
- Responsibility for all applications of swimming practised outside of the Water Lilies classes both now and in the future is borne by you and not Water Lilies Swimming School.
- Water Lilies does not take any responsibility for the application of any Baby Swimming practices described or shown in books and videos.
- The recommendations, ideas and techniques expressed and described in Water Lilies classes, as well as in books and videos endorsed by Water Lilies cannot be regarded as a substitute for the advice of qualified medical practitioners. An uses to which the recommendations, ideas and techniques are solely at your discretion.
- The participation of you, your child or those who you have placed your child in the care of, with the purpose of attending or watching swimming classes is done so entirely at your own risk.
Medical:
- Medical conditions must be disclosed to Water Lilies Swimming School regarding the health of you, your child or those who you have placed your child in care with for the purpose of attending swimming sessions.
- Following on from sickness and diarrhoea we recommend your child be clear of any symptoms for 48 hours prior to attendance at class.
Swimmers:
- If you arrive early do not enter the pool hall until the instructor has told you to.
- Arrive for the teaching session on time.
- Do not take solid food into the changing rooms.
- Do not leave children unattended in changing rooms.
- No buggies in the changing rooms, please leave them outside.
- Shoes must be left outside the changing rooms.
- Persons who have consumed food within 1½ hours should not use the pool.
- To avoid injury the wearing of spectacles in the water by a swimmer during a session is not recommended. Care of spectacles is the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
- Swimming goggles, including those with ophthalmic prescription lenses, may be worn at the wearers own risk.
- Jewellery can be a hazard and should not be worn during swimming.
- Only enter the pool once your instructor had told you to.
- Listen to what your instructor tells you. If you don’t understand, please ask.
- The following action is seen as disorderly behaviour: running, diving, jumping, ducking, fighting, bombing, shouting and throwing items. If you are warned and behaviour persists you will be asked to leave.
- All babies, until they are potty trained, must wear double protection nappies in the pool consisting of a disposable nappy underneath a re-usable nappy or baby wrap, both available to purchase poolside or on-line at www.waterliliesswim.co.uk. Water Lilies Swimming School reserves the right to refuse admission to the swimming pool without the appropriate swimwear.
- Nappies must only be disposed of in the bins provided - unless stated otherwise i.e. take nappies home.
- DO NOT 'dangle' babies into the water at the side of the pool, you may be asked to the leave the pool area and not continue your session if this occurs.
Pool Safety:
- In the event of an emergency the person in charge will blow a single long blast on a whistle.
- All swimmers and spectator will immediately stop what they are doing and wait quietly for further instructions.
- Should it be necessary to clear the pool, when the instruction is given, all swimmers will move to the sides of the pool, leave the water and stand back from the side.
- Should it be necessary to evacuate the building no attempt should be made to recover possessions from the changing rooms or anywhere else within the building.
- All Instructors hold the ASA Teacher Certificate, are registered Members of the IOS and are CRB checked.

Prices
All prices are correct at time of going to print but may be subject to change. All prices are quoted in £ Sterling (and are inclusive of VAT), unless otherwise specified.
Delivery
All orders are delivered via Royal Mail on smaller packages. If we cannot dispatch an item (due to stock availability) we will contact you via email or telephone to discuss whether we hold your order over until that item is in stock or whether you wish to cancel the cost of that item and we will refund your account for that item or send you an alternative product.
The delivery charge is automatically added to your order and you will see the total amount you have to pay before you confirm the order. For heavier items the price is shown when you confirm the order. On orders over £50 (where the weight is not unusually heavy and priced separately) the postage is free of charge.
The risk of products shall pass to the customer on delivery once the products have been signed for.
Returned goods
Please inspect your goods on arrival – if you are unsatisfied in any way please contact us by telephone or email immediately.
Returned goods must be unused and in a saleable condition. Any packaging i.e. goggle boxes must also be in the same condition as when received.
If you return goods because they were ordered incorrectly or if they do not fit you will pay the return postage costs. If you would like us to replace the goods with another size or colour, we will charge carriage on the replacement.
If you return an item because it was faulty when it was delivered, we will refund your postage costs for returning it to us. Please check with us before returning any goods as we will only refund the basic postage charge.
All goods must be returned within 30 days of receipt, in it's original condition with all the original packaging – for any reason.
For International Returns (i.e. from outside the EU), a Custom's Declaration stating that the goods are being returned, either for replacement or refund, must be included, with the shipment. We are unable to accept International returns without this correct documentation.

Damaged or Faulty goods
In the unlikely event that your package arrives visibly damaged, under no circumstances should you accept delivery. However, should damage not be apparent on delivery please notify us immediately so that we can submit a claim without delay.

Import duty or tax
Please note that if the delivery address given on an order is outside of the EU an import tax may be payable upon receipt of the goods. The amount payable depends on the destination and may be subject to change. These payments are the responsibility of the customer and we accept no liability for any payments which may be due. Orders placed from outside the UK will be subject to an additional postage charge which will be added to your invoice before the order is dispatched.
Credit Card Security
We use PayPal to process all online payments and all card details will be handled securely by them and you, the shopper and Water Lilies Online Shop will receive confirmation of the transaction.
